Highlights

Within Codycross, I participated in several discussions and proposal structuring aimed at impacting KPIs, among which the most relevant ones are:

Restructuring the pacing of the game, enhancing the retention of medium and long-term gameplay for positive indicators.
Designing an improvement in the initial game experience, reducing the time between opening the app and starting to play.
Identification of a churn peak at a certain moment in the game and designing solutions to mitigate this issue, successfully achieving the objective.

Codycross is a game by Fanatee with around 10 million downloads worldwide. Its popularity and success are partly due to its unique and distinctive style: a word game, similar to a crossword puzzle, with a mechanics of progression that propels you forward when you provide a correct answer.

Additionally, Codycross includes various features focused on retention, stickiness, and monetization. Being a long-term project, its Game Loop is well-connected, and it incorporates features that cater to both "Achievement" and "Mastery" motivated players.
